Truman Hill Farm produces 100% grass fed and finished premium beef in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. Our cattle graze on no-spray pastures and fatten with no grains, artificial hormones, or antibiotics. With room to roam, low-stress humane treatment, clean water, and rotated fresh pastures, our cattle thrive to provide great beef that has customers coming back year after year.
Truman Hill Farm has been recognized for good conservation practices to protect water quality, and our farm is in a conservation easement. Our family has farmed this land for over 100 years with a history of tobacco, crops, orchards, stud horses, and even a brandy distillery. We now produce grass fed beef that is locally born, locally raised, and locally processed for a local market. From birth to table, it would be hard for our beef to travel even 100 miles.
We sell beef custom processed to your specifications by the whole, half, and split side (a quarter equal share of an entire beef rather than front or rear quarters.) We also sell “burger shares” of whole-cow steak burgers with every cut added to the grind for an exceptionally flavorful burger.
