Pasture Song Farm, located on 30 acres in northern Chester County, produces pastured, GMO-free pork and chicken.
Our heritage breed hogs are forage grazed, meaning they graze not only pasture, but also digestible forage crops that we cultivate for them, such as alfalfa, cowpeas, oats, mustard, & more. This provides them with valuable nutrition and allows them to express their natural behavior. Their diet also includes a GMO-free grain mix we grind on the farm, and organic yogurt and milk from Seven Stars Farm. They receive no antibiotics or hormones.
We raise our chickens throughout the growing season on legume-rich pastures, providing them with forage and grubs to supplement their diet of GMO-free grain. They too receive no antibiotics or hormones.
Our pork is available for purchase throughout the year, by the half or whole hog, as variety bulk bundles, and as individual retail cuts at Seven Stars Farm Store. We also offer a four month “Meat CSA,” which includes our pork and chicken, as well as Seven Stars Farm beef.
Our chickens are available for sale throughout the summer and fall, and sold as whole chickens. Please contact us to check availability and to reserve your order. Visit our website to learn more!
