JX Ranch is a family owned and operated ranch in eastern New Mexico. We manage the ranch using holistic range management principles, and the cattle using low stress handling. The meat we sell is from our own yearlings, born and raise on native pastures the way nature intended. We never give them any grain, antibiotics, growth-hormones or other chemicals of any kind. They live their entire lives free-range eating a wide variety of grass species.
The meat is dry-aged a full 30 days for optimum tenderness and flavor. We also harvest at a younger age further ensuring a good eating experience. Please read what our customers have to say on our Testimonials page.

We ship retail cuts and Beef Packs year-round, $35 flat rate shipping for most locations. We deliver for free to locations within New Mexico – sign up on our website for free delivery.
CUSTOM CUT QUARTER, HALF AND WHOLE BEEF
In the fall we offer our Big Fall Round-Up; custom cut beef (two cut sheets to choose from) with free delivery to Albuquerque (meet at Edgewood), Santa Fe, Alamogordo and Las Vegas, New Mexico. Our prices are all inclusive – prices are per pound of meat you take home, no second guessing on carcass weights, live weights etc. We take orders until sold out, usually mid to late summer. Delivery is usually in November. In the spring we have a much smaller custom butcher and you pick up your meat at our custom butcher, Fort Sumner Processing.
