Inglewood Farm is committed to raising our animals using sustainable farming practices that include pasturing, crop rotation and natural environment habitats. Our Red Angus cows move from pasture to pasture and within our crop rotation and are never fed grain. The heritage breed of Berkshire Hogs roam freely in the nature preserve that borders the east side of our farm as well as into pastures that provide a natural environment. The laying hens on Inglewood move along the pecan orchards and are housed in the “chicken bus” and a converted cotton trailer. Everything grown in the ground at Inglewood is organically certified and everything grown on the ground uses natural, pastured practices.
Our mission is to provide healthy choices for our customers while at the same time improving our soils through good practices. All animals are treated with respect and raised in as natural habitat as possible. None are treated with hormones or antibiotics.
Inglewood products, which include produce, pork, eggs, beef, pecans and berries, are sold at various farmer’s markets including the weekly Harvest Barn Market at Inglewood every Saturday where we offer multiple vendors, live music and wagon rides through the vegetable fields. Our products are also available through seasonal CSA subscriptions.
Currently our pork is available in retail cuts at markets and whole, half, and primal cuts for wholesale.
